Yautja Dominion unveils The Last Hunt — a cinematic journey into the world of the Yautja warriors
A dark, immersive musical experience follows the warriors on a journey where every step brings the story closer to its ultimate destiny.

Yautja Dominion, the cinematic music project of Finnish composer and producer Tomi Perrakoski, today presents The Last Hunt — a debut album built around the world, mythology and warrior spirit of the Yautja.
More than a collection of tracks, The Last Hunt is conceived as a single narrative arc. Across ten compositions — from Hunt Begins to the closing title track — the album follows the warriors through a dark and dangerous world, each step drawing the listener deeper into their journey and closer to the culmination of the hunt.
The Journey
Every track advances the story.
The album is designed to be experienced as a whole — a progression rather than a playlist. The tension of the hunt builds movement by movement: the first trail found, the long pursuit through hostile terrain, the moments of silence before the final confrontation.
This is music written with the discipline of film scoring: themes that return transformed, atmospheres that thicken as the warriors move toward their ultimate destiny, and a finale that resolves the journey on its own terms.
The Sound
Cinematic atmosphere, relentless weight.
The Last Hunt blends epic orchestral scoring with the weight of dark orchestral metal — hybrid arrangements, powerful modern production and haunting atmospheres crafted for listeners who seek music beyond genres.
The result is an immersive experience: sound that carries the story forward even in its quietest passages, and gives the world of the Yautja warriors a voice of its own.
Beyond Music
A film already exists.
The world of Yautja Dominion extends beyond the album. A film connected to the project has already been completed — another dimension of the Dominion universe, expanding the project from music into cinematic storytelling.
The film currently remains private and has not been made publicly available. It stands as proof of the scale of this universe: the hunt was never meant to live in sound alone.
The Last Hunt is only the beginning of a larger universe.
The album, the film and the growing Dominion Archives form a single creative world — one that will continue to expand with every record revealed.
